Mahjong (which is also called mahjongg, mah jong or majong) is wide spread tile game. By the legend it was developed by Confucius (Chinese philosopher) in about 600 BC. But it's still very popular all over the world, not only in China.
There are many variations of mahjong rules. In some of them luck doesn't affect on game at all on other it's the main winning factor. Nevertheless you must have good strategy and calculation skills to win.
At the beginning of mahjong game each player has from 13 to 15 tiles (the actual number depends on rules variation). On each turn player has to draw one tile and discard one. The goal is to create a specific combination called meld. You win when you draw a tile which will complete your hand.
